Benn Lockyer knows what it feels like to have the floor give way.

After navigating significant personal loss, he discovered something that couldn't be found in a self-help book or a motivational talk: that lasting resilience isn't something that happens to you. It's something you build — deliberately, honestly, and from the inside out.

That understanding became the foundation of everything Benn now does.

As a professional speaker, and mental health advocate, Benn works with individuals and organisations across Australia through three practical frameworks — Built From Within, which helps individuals build the internal foundations for lasting change; RISE, which gives leaders the tools to support their people's mental wellbeing before a crisis becomes visible; and PART, a shared model for intentional workplace communication. His approach is direct, his frameworks are practical, and his delivery is shaped by the kind of lived experience that changes a room.

For organisations facing a recent loss, Benn also delivers a dedicated keynote on grief in the workplace: support for teams navigating something hard, right when they need it.

Benn speaks on behalf of Red Nose Australia, as both a speaker and peer supporter. He is also a volunteer Beyond Blue speaker. He chose these organisations because he believes that real advocacy means showing up for the hardest conversations, not the easiest ones.
